About UsFOUNDED AT THE DAWN OF THE NEW MILLENNIUM the J & E Berkley Foundation seeks to fund programs which better the community through education, conservation and the promotion of a civil society. OUR EMPHASIS IS ON PREVENTION AND INTERDICTION, in an effort to provide a healthy and a vibrant community. It is our goal to encourage and support an integrated community encompassing social programs that help people, nature, conservation - animal and the arts. GRANTS WILL BE AWARDED TWO TIMES PER YEAR based on the need, merit, and contributions of the programs, as determined by the Board of Directors. Proposals will be considered for startups, operating expenses for new and existing programs, as well as repeat funding. Innovation is encouraged. |
